Automatische Kündigung Deutschlandticket-Upgrade! | Automatic cancellation Deutschlandticket upgrade!

Liebe Kommiliton:innen,

leider ist es bei vielen zu Problemen mit dem Upgrade auf das 
Deutschlandticket gekommen, denn:

ALLE DEUTSCHLANDTICKET-UPGRADES WURDEN ZUM 31.08.2023 (Semesterende) 
AUTOMATISCH GEKÜNDIGT!

Seit dem 01.09.2023 gilt das Semesterticket nicht mehr im sachsenweiten 
Schienenpersonennahverkehr, sondern nur noch im Bereich des 
Verkehrsverbundes Oberelbe (VVO).
Da das Semesterticket dadurch günstiger geworden ist, musste der Preis 
für das Upgrade vom Semesterticket auf das Deutschlandticket 
entsprechend angepasst werden. Das von den Verkehrsbetrieben beauftragte 
Unternehmen für den Vertrieb des Upgrades, die Digital H GmbH, hat 
deshalb alle laufenden Abos des Deutschlandticket-Upgrades zum 
31.08.2023 automatisch gekündigt. Eine automatische Verlängerung war 
nicht möglich.

Alle Abonnent:innen des Upgrades hätten eine entsprechende 
Kündigungsbestätigung erhalten sollen. Das ist leider NICHT passiert, 
obwohl uns das zuvor versichert wurde.

Das heißt: ALLE, DIE IM SEPTEMBER (WIEDER) DAS DEUTSCHLANDTICKET-UPGRADE 
NUTZEN WOLLEN, MÜSSEN DAS ABO ERNEUT ABSCHLIESSEN!

Wir bedauern diesen unschönen Zustand und möchten uns bei allen 
entschuldigen, denen dadurch Probleme entstanden sind.

Wir gehen davon aus, dass so ein Problem im kommenden Semester nicht 
mehr entstehen wird.

Dear fellow students,

Unfortunately, many of you had problems with the upgrade to the 
Deutschlandticket, because:

ALL DEUTSCHLANDTICKET UPGRADES WERE AUTOMATICALLY CANCELLED BY 
31.08.2023 (END OF SEMESTER)!

As of 01.09.2023, the semester ticket is no longer valid in Saxony-wide 
local rail transport, but only in the area of the Verkehrsverbund 
Oberelbe (VVO).
Since the semester ticket has become cheaper as a result, the price for 
the upgrade from the semester ticket to the Deutschlandticket had to be 
adjusted accordingly. The company commissioned by the transport 
companies to sell the upgrade, Digital H GmbH, therefore automatically 
cancelled all current subscriptions to the Deutschlandticket upgrade as 
of 31.08.2023. Automatic extension was not possible.

All subscribers of the upgrade were supposed to receive a corresponding 
confirmation of cancellation. Unfortunately, this did NOT happen, 
although we were assured of this beforehand.

This means: ALL WHO WANT TO USE THE DEUTSCHLANDTICKET UPGRADE IN 
SEPTEMBER (AGAIN) MUST SUBSCRIBE AGAIN!

We regret this unfortunate situation and would like to apologise to 
anyone who has experienced problems as a result.
